This is a small studio for Blackbox Films, but they do a lot of far reaching work from it. Blackbox Films makes the most premium ad films, this side of the country. The reason I’m featuring this project here is that we built one of the very few Foley rooms in Chennai, for this client. It is tiny, but has a myriad of surfaces, pits and configurations, and is tremendously versatile, relative to it’s size.

We squeezed so much into this room! The right speaker is placed on an 18” JBL Cinema subwoofer, and despite the room being so small, the comprehensive bass treatment ensures that the room is not overwhelmed by the humongous subwoofer. See how happy the engineer looks!
